DESCRIPTION

Each bot is constructed from laser-cut acrylic housing that protects repurposed vacuum robot mechanics, creating a sustainable platform from recycled electronics. The navigation system employs a camera paired with computer vision software that reads QR codes attached to plants and companion bots, enabling the robots to track and follow their targets autonomously. The bots are programmed with hierarchical behavior algorithms that establish pack dynamics, with follower units maintaining proximity to a designated leader plant. This collective movement pattern mimics natural ecosystem relationships, particularly mother-offspring bonds found in animal groups. The transparent acrylic construction reveals the mechanical components within, making the technology visible while the bots perform their programmed botanical migrations.
